Building on the legislative updates ICAP offered law enforcement last year, the team will host three sessions this spring. The first, hosted on February 22, will be to help municipal representatives understand new, discussed and proposed legislation that may impact local public entities. Recent case law updates will also be included.

The second session, hosted live, via Zoom, on March 28, will be to review the bills that are likely to pass, and the anticipated impact on Iowa municipalities.

The third and final session, hosted live, via Zoom, on April 22, will provide a final overview on the bills passed by the legislature, and the potential implications for Iowa public entities.
